Overview
The syllabus has the flexibility to enable training to meet specific needs. Overall, it should enable employees to:
- Take personal responsibility for following food safety procedures
- Understand the importance of personal hygiene
- Receive and store food safety
- Prepare, cook and hold food safely
- State the legal requirements to provide safe food

Duration and Assessment
1 day programme
30 question Multiple choice examination leading to Level 2 certification
Cost
£40 per candidate for in-house training. The minimum charge is for 10 candidates and includes the cost of workbooks and certificates . Where there are more that 10 candidates an overall charge can be negotiated.
