First Aid at Work
This three day course meets the requirements of current legislation and qualifies successful candidates as first aiders in the workplace. It is an essential training requirement for organisations with more than 50 staff and for managers, supervisors and anyone responsible for the well-being of others at work.

Outcomes
On successful completion of the course and on passing the practical and theory assessments the candidate will be issued with a First Aid at Work certificate approved by the Health and Safety Executive (valid for 3 years).
Duration and Assessment
3 day programme, External assessors evaluate the candidate's ability to deal promptly and effectively with a casualty who is unresponsive, requires CPR, or is wounded and bleeding. There is also a multiple choice theory examination.
Cost
£1200 for a maximum of 12 candidates where the course is delivered in-house. This includes the cost of certificates, workbooks and external assessors.
